On November 1st, the 10th anniversary event of the debut of WEST., "Kansai Nanairo Otoko Omatsuri," opened at Teradasoko E HALL in Tokyo. Nozomu Kotaki promoted the event by saying, "There are booths where you can fully experience the essence of WEST. You can enjoy it from various angles."
This is the group's first pop-up event. They have been preparing for it for nine months as a token of gratitude to their fans. Upon entering the venue, the seven members greet the fans, known as Jasmine, with specially recorded videos. The hall is decorated with lanterns, and the corners are designed in a festival stall style. Daiki Shigeoka said, "We imagined a local festival created by the people of a town, sharing a warm and friendly atmosphere. We created this event so that you can feel the warmth of our 10th anniversary." Junta Nakama added, "It feels very much like WEST."
The event is packed with features, including a corner where you can shoot videos with the members and an exhibition of costumes. In the display of personal belongings, Nozomu Kotaki showcased the script of his leading stage play, emphasizing his individuality.
Additionally, there is a corner where you can enjoy interactive conversations with the group's character "Yatsu" using the latest system. While you can interact by pressing buttons, Junta Nakama encouraged, "Since it's a special occasion, please use your voice." Ryusei Fujii added, "I think everyone around will be excited and making noise, so please shout out loud and enjoy the experience." The event will be held in Tokyo until November 20th, and in Osaka from December 2nd to 26th.
This year, the group also held arena tours and dome tours. In December, they have a performance scheduled at their sacred place, the Osaka Shochikuza Theatre. Nozomu Kotaki expressed his joy, saying, "We have created the most opportunities for fans to meet and enjoy." On the other hand, tickets for the Osaka venue of this event will be released soon, but the Tokyo venue is already sold out. The Shochikuza Theatre performance tickets have also become platinum tickets. Junta Nakama sympathized with fans, saying, "I think some people will be sad that they can't come, but in our 11th year, we want to continue doing things that will make everyone happy."
