The drama is based on the manga by Daisuke Watanabe. It is a violent action story about a “revenge agent” who runs an antiquarian bookstore on the surface while secretly taking on requests from victims to punish offenders who have escaped legal justice. Kamenashi plays the role of the revenge agent, partnering with Yosuke Kubozuka as co-leads.

Kamenashi commented, “There are some terrible events in the story that make you want to look away, but this is also part of the deep themes the work carries. It is filled with elements that will make you feel something, so I hope you take it in fully.” Regarding his approach to the role, he mentioned, “Everything about the character, from the appearance to the Kansai dialect, is not me. I tried to stay away from my own senses and feelings.”

This was his first time co-starring with Kubozuka. Kamenashi expressed his gratitude, saying, “Even in a project like this, he created a calm atmosphere and led the way, making it a well-paced filming environment.”
