Kaito Miyachika from Travis Japan to Star in Drama “Honnou Switch”: “I Hope Everyone Enjoys the Feelings of Frustration and Excitement”
Kaito Miyachika from Travis Japan will co-star with actress Wakana Aoi in the TV Asahi drama “Honnou Switch” airing in January next year . This marks Miyachika’s first leading role in a drama. He commented, “I want to face this role wholeheartedly so that everyone can enjoy the feelings of frustration and excitement.”

As the leader of Travis Japan, Miyachika debuted worldwide in 2022. This year, they are conducting their first world tour, engaging in activities both domestically and internationally.
Regarding his first drama lead role, Miyachika expressed his delight, saying, “I’m very happy to have received such an honorable opportunity.”
Furthermore, Miyachika shared his enthusiasm, stating, “I want to give it my all. I would be delighted if the fans enjoy it and we can get excited together.”
The drama is based on the manga of the same name by KUJIRA, depicting an adult’s first love that begins when childhood friends of 26 years spend a night together.
Miyachika will play the protagonist who wants to take his relationship with the heroine, whom he has admired for a long time, a step further. He respects the character’s straightforward and kind nature towards the heroine and said, “I think if I can reflect even a little of my good qualities into the role, I can better align myself with the character.”
Aoi, who will play the heroine confused by her feelings for her childhood friend, has starred in various works. She noted, “I haven’t had much experience in romance dramas, so this is a big challenge for me.” She called out, “I would be happy if the viewers could empathize, support us, and progress together with the drama.”
