Ren Meguro of Snow Man attended the “Omotesando FENDI Illumination 2024” lighting ceremony held in Omotesando, Tokyo on December 2.
He made an appearance wearing items from this year’s Winter Holiday Collection, totaling ¥1,915,100 (approximately $13,000). Regarding the illumination at the venue, he revealed, “When I am driving, I always want to pass by and take a look, so I drive through the street to see it.” He added, “I am also really looking forward to the illumination here.” When he pressed the button at the host’s signal, the night sky of Tokyo was adorned with champagne gold lights.

It was Meguro’s first time attending the lighting ceremony individually. Looking over the illumination, he expressed, “Of course, I was nervous, but the overwhelming beauty the moment the lights came on made me feel truly honored to be here.” His eyes shone with a brilliance that matched the illumination.
The illumination, which started in 1991, this year lights up approximately one kilometer of Omotesando’s main street, lined with 154 Zelkova trees, with about 900,000 champagne gold LEDs. The event will continue until December 28.
