Naniwa Danshi Kicks Off Asia Tour in Taiwan with a Spectacular Performance! Debut Song “Beginner LOVE (UBU LOVE)” Features Lyrics in Taiwanese
Naniwa Danshi held their first overseas concert at Taipei Arena in Taiwan on November 30 and December 1. Over the course of two days, the group attracted a total of 22,000 attendees. They performed and danced to 30 songs, including their hit “Diamond Smile,” marking the beginning of their Asia tour.
The seven members appeared on stage wearing long jackets designed by Kento Nagao specifically for the Asia tour. Amidst loud cheers, Shunsuke Michieda shouted in the local language, “我們是浪花男子 (We are Naniwa Danshi).” He then declared, “We are about to start a spacey, spectacular, and special live show!”
The overseas concert, which was realized three years after their CD debut in November 2021, saw Kyohei Takahashi enthusiastically calling out “我愛你們 (I love you)” and “再大聲點 (Let me hear your voices louder).”
During their debut song “Beginner LOVE (UBU LOVE),” they sang part of the song in Taiwanese, exciting the audience. Towards the end, each of the seven members read a letter of gratitude in the local language, resulting in a big round of applause from the audience.
Naniwa Danshi will hold concerts in Seoul and Hong Kong in January next year. Their dream has only just begun.
